It’s actually a 52 Packard Henney hearse/ambulance conversion.
To those of you who follow me on facebook this is not new news. It’s all I’ve been talking about for the past week.
Mister found her on eBay and she hitched a ride all the way from Colorado to be delivered home on Halloween. Fitting, eh?
She’s a bit of a beast right now and in much need of some TLC, but by the time we’re done with her we will be putting the “fun” back in funeral. Our plans are to hot rod Henney. Not show car quality or a full resto, but something we can feel safe driving, have some fun at the hot rod shows and cause lots of head turns in. I think she’ll fit the bill on all accounts.
And I may just have to roll up to the grocery store a time or two in her. You should see all the cargo space! Or better yet, Henney will be the perfect thrifting vehicle. I could put a shitload of vintage dresses and mid-century furniture in the back. Henney has certainly got room for junk in her trunk!
