Welcome to Midnight Maniac Meatless Mondays {MMMM}!
I would like to thank everyone for linking up last week. You shared lots of meatless goodness! Our little community is starting to grow. I appreciate you posting the MMMM and GoMeatless! buttons on your blogs and for linking your posts back to the carnival. It helps spread the word and encourage others to join us in going meatless.
Speaking of which, you can help the Go Meatless facebook page get its own url by going here and clicking “Like”. Just 14 more likes are needed!
Last week you served up lots to like. 38 links for MMMM #19. Double! It sure would be nice to double #20 too. With your help we can do it!
If you come across a meatless post not already linked, invite them to join. Feel free to use this script:
This would be a great post to link to <a href=”http://www.midnightmaniac.com/tag/midnight-maniac-meatless-mondays/”>Midnight Maniac Meatless Mondays</a>.
Just copy and paste into the comments of their blog.
Here are some highlights from last week.
40 links here we come!
Here’s how it works.
MMMM is a weekly carnival dedicated to those interested in improving their personal health and the health of the planet by reducing meat consumption one day a week. Every Monday you have a chance to feature a link to something meatless. It doesn’t have to be a recipe {although that would be nice}, it can be a picture of a meatless meal you ate that week, an interesting article you read about meat consumption, a post on your blog about going meatless, perhaps a post on someone else’s blog you found helpful, anything Meatless Monday appropriate.
Here’s how you can be a part of it.
- Link up your Meatless Monday posts here every Monday.
- Add the button to your sidebar and in posts that you do link up.
- Join the Meatless Monday Flickr group and share your photos with the group.
- Follow @GoMeatless on Twitter
- Like Go Meatless on Facebook
- Suggest all of the above to friends/family/followers!
Choose something meatless you would like to feature for the week. A Meatless Monday post on your own blog would be ideal. {Just so you know, your meatless meal doesn’t have to be on a Monday. That’s just the day I chose to feature them.} Come back to Midnight Maniac every Monday and add your link to the linky box below. The linky box features thumbnails with your link, so be prepared to add a picture. Just follow the prompts – it’s easy!
If you’re featuring a post from your own blog help spread the word by linking back to Midnight Maniac Meatless Mondays.

Today I am sharing my Green Bean Salad With Fennel, Dried Blueberries And Blue Cheese. The flavors together are really amazing! If you have never tried fresh fennel (anise) before, you should! The small fennel heads are the best and make sure that they look really fresh before buying them.
Thanks for hosting!

Hi Becca! Seriously sorry I haven’t been around in a while, but life has been so busy and finally settling back into the swing of things. I am sharing a great recipe for those who want to venture into the world of dark greens but do not want a strong tasting green. In walks the lovely Swiss Chard! All the best! alex
