I cannot believe we are a month into 2012 already!
This year is shaping up to be a wild one for sure. My schedule is nuts and the weather has been too. The lack of snow and warm temperatures has myself and the birds all confused.
I have Robins, Cedar Wax Wings and Starlings already!
The birds are signaling that spring is near, but I have barely broken out my winter attire.
I have several new wool coats, but with temps in the 30s and 40s, they are just too warm to wear.
This cute nautical-inspired jacket being one of them.

I forced myself to pass on a 1950s light blue swing jacket the other day because we just don’t have the weather to justify more coats! And yes, I have a few already. Like the longer hair on you. Looks like you could pull off a pin curl set.

lol. I’ve been hunting high and low for some yellow to add into my wardrobe, because it’s such a cheerful color. But it’s been hard finding a shade of yellow that looks good on me. I never thought of trying to find some yellow gloves though! Shall have to keep my eyes peeled–that will take care of my yellow obsession, but avoid the “it doesn’t work with your skin tone” issue. 
hehe.
You may have already tried this, but a delicate, thin, pale yellow cardigan might be cool! I’ve been looking for one for ages.

It is a vintage piece I picked up at an auction. I purchased several hats that day. This was the first time I actually wore that one. I had half a mind to sell it even! Sometimes it just takes the right outfit to change your mind.

I love your all of your clothes! That coat is so cute and the gloves, simply adorable. My favorite outfits that I’ve seen you wear are the “Junkfood dress” and the one that you wore to go to the “Holiday” party this year. (One thing I don’t quite understand, how is 30-40 degrees warm?) ; )
